The River is the Highway, Malcolm?

We take Malcolm at his word, the river is actually the road to 90 Mile Beach, so off we go.

An island off 90 Mile Beach.

Tomorrow we plan to boat out to The Hole in the Rock, but this is not our hole.
And 90 Mile Beach is not 90 miles long, but 60 miles of flat sand, again you are able to drive along the beach.
