Busy Day at the Bird Feeder

It's been pretty quiet around the bird feeder lately.  I guess the heatwave,  then the thunder/hail storms kept these critters quiet.  No sooner had I put a little seed out and wow in they flew.

Even the usually bossy Lorrikeets stepped aside.

Oh So Funky Succulents - 2017

2" & 2 1/2" Circle Punches.

Cut 5 circles from each size.  Fold in half, glue, and form shape.  

Trim a little from the top and a little more from the base,

this allows for easy attaching to 'dirt' base and for flower toppers.

Still having fun with this Stampin' Up set.

OH SO SUCCULENT..

I've been waiting for quiet paper-crafting time.

Here I re-purposed some old clay pots, picked up some peat pots from Bunnings 

and away we go.

Some pots, as with the above creation, are filled with chocolates.

Simply lift the cactus to pull up the chocs.  Fun.

Lots of variety in the stamp and framelit sets.

Mixing up the colours is fun.

A New Friend thanks to the Auctioneers.

I fell for this little lady as soon as l saw her, and thought, you are coming home 

with me.  

So now l have two pieces of early 1900 

art glass. What next?   Hahahaha. 

Windsor, NSW.

It was such a lovely sunny spring day. Duncan was out and Julia in the city with friends... so mumma went for a drive, ending up in the old township of Windsor.  Me and a few thousand others.  It was a lovely environment, l chatted and wondered my way thru this darling little town.  A lovely river walk with magnificent old homes.  Ah...once upon a time that was the dream, now a 1920's bungalow with character features is my goal.
