Building the Set for Pomegranates...

The Bitterness of Pomegranates...
A new Australian play by Julia Clark

- # # # # # # # # # # # -

Here we are with the wonderful Chris, black t/shirt to re-build the flats to form the kitchen walls.
3 hours into Sunday.
(as Julia orders Pizza -whoops no that's my credit card...she is ordering The Last Tango in Halifax for me)

Discussion on how to build a door frame....
(as Julia checks something...)

Slowly, slowly it takes shape.

Looking good.  Julia is painting the walls before we place the benches.

Dad takes a deserved break. As the lighting checks are taking place.

Basics in place.
A few more touches to be added the following day as it is nearing midnight now.

I'm back..
Curtains in, utensil rod up, painting finished, door done, sink sealed.
All ready for Opening Night.

A fun fact...my dear old doll, Mandy, is debuting in her first stage show as, Andrew, the youngest child.
She is thrilled and happy to be included.
At the age of 50, she is holding up very well and doing a marvelous job.

Well done family.

Sunday Drive to Huonville

There she is - Sleeping Beauty.

As you can see, Poppy was too fast on the slide and I only captured the top of her pink hoodie.
Toby was off and running as well, but caught him in full flight.

Poppy and Henry.
Taking photos at a park is like herding cats.

There you are dear boy, got you!

What a wonderful way to end this trip to Tassie.  So many memories of time spent in the Huon Valley.
From football games, to days spent with Dad on his business trips to apple orchards all through the Huon.
A quick trip to Franklin, then a slow trip through Sandfly and up to Pelveratta.  Blast from the past!
I know I drove Samuel mad with my remembrances.  Ah well...

Thank you everyone for indulging me.  x x x

Swim Lessons for Henry

I love these pensive looks from Henry.
What thoughts are going through your head little one?
...................................................
This maybe.....

Where are your pants Dad ?

....you are so embarrassing !

Foggy Tasmania

Waking up in Tassie with an old favourite - The Bridgewater Jerry.
No idea where the name came from, a good question for 'Then and Now' website.  The Jerry is fog bank that accumulates in the Derwent River Valley, north of Hobart and rolls down river to the city where it sits-a-bit before dispersing at around lunch time.
A 'good ol' pea souper'.
