Favorite Christmas photo for me so far

Robert {L} reading his nephew Henry a story,

Sam {R} showing his niece Poppy how to use a phone.

Makes a mum feel very proud of her two boys and at how far they have both come.
Both wonderful dads, caring brothers, and loving uncles.

Parcel from Gran

Toby put a request in for a photo of he and Duncan building with Lego. "And Gran, could you send me a Star Wars Lego light saver? And Gran could Duncan make me some Lego?"

How could we resist such a request.

So here are photos of Toby opening his parcel. Of course there are some pretty dresses for Poppy, our sweet pea.

BARE CREEK TRAIL FUN RUN.....

Well done Julia!
Sunday November 13th 2011
8am race start.
The trail runs through the Garingal National Park in the St Ives area. 10K Fun Run.
Our area is actually surrounded by national parks. The Garingal and The Ka-Ring-Gai National Parks, hence our area is known as the leafy north shore.
The weather was warm, 19 C to 25 C, with a little cloud cover. SIHS meeting place at the St Ives Park Primary School. Well organized event.

Julia's time: 1 hr- 12mins- 17 sec.....6 km walk

+ 1 twisted ankle = fun morning.

BARE CREEK TRAIL FUN RUN.....

Ready, set, go ! .....

Just managed to snap the start...though missed Julia.

Just off centre Maddie, dark blue, is looking away, as is Angela, white singlet,

J is between them.

Proof Julia did participate....good for you Jules.

Gee Up Team! These guys did very well to motivate everyone before the race. Good fun.

St Ives High had a good turn out for the event.

Held at St Ives Park Primary School.

Julia front row {long sleeve top}

Where is Duncan I hear you say.....home in bed.

Quite unusual for D not to participate in events such as this. Next year we will all participate.

Happy Henry !

Today Henry received a clean bill of health.

12 Months on from his heart surgery, all is good.

Well done little man, and well done to your mum & dad, Sam and Lu.

The news couldn't be better.

White Sox BASEBALL

Well done, Sam!

Does this photo take me back, or what !

Those days when you were 10 I think, you loved being the catcher. Wearing all the protective gear was the attraction. I remember thinking hmmm looks like Darth Vader.

Good on you, in time perhaps you will coach Henry's baseball team...hmmm?

Squash....at last!

I am so, so very happy to be able to show Duncan and Julia the game of squash.

Here we are at the Willoughby Squash Club.

They are both picking up the game quite well. Both Percy and I so hope they continue and grow to fall in love with the sport as we did, all those years ago.

For those that don't know the game, you can see the ball in the 2nd photo, black spot on the blue/orange line, Duncan is about to take the shot after the ball comes off the back wall.

1st photo - Julia is serving.

Yes, Percy and I do play with D & J. It was so good to walk onto a squash court after being away for 10 years +. I didn't know how much I had missed it.

GOBBLE, GOBBLE

Cockatoos on the deck are one thing..... Mr Brush Turkey thinks

he can get a free meal .

It seems there are more brush turkeys around this year, interesting.

Henry love monkeys!

Look at all that hair Henry!

Sweet little fellow.

I saw these little monkeys at Bed, Bath & Table, and thought how cute are they, I know just the bedroom for those. Looks like they didn't quite make it. Good for you Henry.

Rob's Reno 2011

Welcome Christmas #2

Version 2 with a twist.

This time white card body, Pear Pizzazz, Pretty in Pink, & Cherry Cobbler. Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler inks. Various pink ribbons.

Seasons Greetings # 1

I think this is my favourite, simple but nice.

Very Vanilla card body, Old Olive, & Cherry Cobbler card stock and inks. Oh and a little Pear Pizzazz behind the Cherry Cobbler. Red glitter berries add a little sparkle.

Thank you Sarah from my stamp club for the idea.

Welcome Christmas....

One of three different variations from this lovely stamp set.

White card stock body, Cherry Cobbler, Olive Green & various Designer Series Papers in red & white. Love the simplicity of this card.

Centre Stamp is embossed in Cherry Cobbler so has a gloss and texture to it. Nice.

Christmas is coming.....

Whoo's Merry?

Little cuties. Little santa hats are 1 1/4 " circle punch cut in half (Cherry Cobbler), add trimed down Word Window punch (white) & left over eyes from Owl Builder punch as the pompoms used on the hats. Add inked edges (crumb cake) and glitter and there you have merry christmas owl tags.
Welcome Christmas stamp set...oh so many uses!
Crumb Cake ink on small pre cut tags (store bought). Tree stamped in and on Old Olive.
I added red glitter Christmas balls to the trees and dimentional foam dots to highlight them.

A smaller version of the Believe tags.

This time on Confetti White (a favourite) Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake inks.

Making these little added extras for Christmas really get me into the Christmas
Spirit. Such fun.
